He’s so fat now – it’s the first thing everyone says when they see him. Oooh, he’s packing it on! was the comment from Mark’s boss this morning. Hee. Poor Mark – he left his phone at home so I had to take it to his office; once there, I didn’t have the office number (and it wasn’t in his phone book) so I had to brave the geeks and go in. I was soooo tempted to take his lunch in as well, but the effect would not have been so great as it was in a bowl not a paper bag.
I’m chuffed today – my chiropractor gave me a hot tip yesterday about a farmer’s co-op in town. We didn’t think there was one, and have been searching for a while, to no avail. Apparently Luke does $30/40/50 boxes of organic fruit and veg, will deliver for $5 or you can pick up for free. So we’re going to order the $30 box this week and see how long it lasts. It’s the perfect season to start – organic stone fruit, here we come! If we can stretch that to last a week, it’ll be cheaper than buying a week’s groceries at Woolworths, and far tastier/healthier/less plastic.
